This is an advanced tutorial.
You will need to understand the following: 1. Tubular Peyote Stitch and 2. Peyote stitch increases using Herringbone stitch .
The PDF file includes bead counts, colour charts, the pattern for the peyote band plus the pattern for the wing element along with instructions and photographs. Please be aware that this tutorial does not contain the usual number of step-by-step photographs simply because I beaded without a pattern and without a plan. I had no intention of turning this into a tutorial until it was requested. There are photos, just not as many as I would normally give you.
This is NOT a quick project. This will be fairly time consuming but it will be worth every hour you put into it.
